Thanks to its compact, clear design, EasyAssist can be used anywhere, e.g. in offices, medical practice buildings, hotels, retail stores, schools and apartment buildings. The EasyAssist Pro model is intended for use on fire doors.

MotionIQ from dormakaba is an intelligent control system for automatic doors that adapts to users’ individual movements, significantly improving the building’s energy footprint and ensuring greater efficiency and sustainability with lower operating costs.

MotionIQ, which was previously only available for swing doors, is now also available for automatic sliding doors from dormakaba and will be shown at BAU2025 on an energy-saving ST PRO Green automatic sliding door with fine-framed, thermally separated profiles.

At the BAU 2025 trade fair in Munich, dormakaba is presenting MotionIQ, an innovative technology that significantly reduces energy loss through automatic doors. Thanks to precise door control, MotionIQ minimizes the time that doors are held open and, depending on the application scenario, enables energy savings of up to 50% compared to standard solutions. This also contributes to reducing a building's carbon footprint.

An assessment of the savings potential for each use case is made possible by dormakaba’s Door Efficiency Calculator, a scientifically validated tool that provides architects and building planners with reliable data for sustainable decisions.
