Training Goals
The participant gains knowledge about dormakaba CardLink and is able to commission a Cardlink system with EACM after the training.
Training Topics
- Basics of dormakaba CardLink
- Presentation of the components (terminal / door components)
- Terms such as "validation" and "update"
- Parameterization of the administration area and door components with EACM
- Parameterization of the terminals (T&A & Access) / reader settings with current B-COMM software
- Structure of validation and update records
- Different media / RFID technologies and their use with CardLink
- Using the Kaba Programmer 1460
- Installation, commissioning and configuration of a small CardLink EACM system with dormakaba evolo door components
- Commissioning, system maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Practical exercises to deepen your knowledge
Requirements
- Basic technical training in network technology and basic knowledge of the EAD product portfolio
- Knowledge of data communication, time recording, access, and dormakaba evolo
- Participation in the "Introductory Training: EAD Product Portfolio"
- Participation in the "Basic training B-COMM"
- Participation in the "Basic Training EAD Hardware"
