Till Reuter knows how to write success stories. And he wants to do the same at dormakaba. Our new CEO has
extensive management expertise and a passion for innovation. During his time at Kuka, a world-leading automation
company based in Germany, he gained experience leading a global company. In our interview, Till Reuter shared
insights into his impressions of dormakaba, his management style, his focus topics, and how he tries to stay on
top of things.
What motivated you to take on the role of CEO at dormakaba and how do you assess the company?
dormakaba, of course. I joined the board of directors in October 2023 and had already recognized the exciting
nature of the organization. The corporate culture is innovative and forward-looking exactly what I am attracted to.
I like what the company has to offer: internation- ality, innovation, and technology. And the approach of combining
hardware with digitalization. After the many changes of the past few years, my goal is to bring stability to the
organization and make our benefits more visible to the outside world.
How do you see the organization evolving in the long term under your leadership?
dormakaba has a radiant power. I was able to experience this again during my first days in Switzerland, Germany,
and the US: Employees proudly showed me pioneering and progressive innovations tailored to our customers. But
unfortunately, I have to say that this radiance does not extend to the outside world. We have a wide range of
products, we have innovation, and that gives us an advantage over our competitors – but we have to work on
