Faced with outdated cab saloon door locks that lacked adequate security, the operator turned to dormakaba for a modern, tailor-made solution. dormakaba developed the Kaba 20 Bespoke Special Cylinder, designed specifically for the train’s 25mm thin electric sliding doors. A custom rubber shroud ensured both security and passenger safety by minimizing impact risk. This collaboration underscores how engineered precision and partnership can transform a complex access challenge into a seamless, secure solution.
